Client: Microsoft
Microsoft hired me to illustrate a library of global holidays to be used in MyHub for countries around the world. The project involved learning about each holiday and coming with some iconic imagery of each. I had meetings with teams in India, China, and UAE to come up with illustrations that were celebratory, approachable and culturally accurate. Each illustration started with pencil sketches, and I brought it into Illustrator. The holiday library consists of approximately 40 illustrations and the lists are growing, as we begin illustrating for more holidays in different countries.
At Microsoft, I also had the pleasure of designing and creating more assets for Microsoft’s illustration library.
Client: Microsoft One Drive
The client wanted a UI illustration that showed how you can take OneDrive with you when you graduate, appealing to customers who wanted to use OneDrive beyond an educational institution.
Client: Microsoft OneNote
The client wanted a new OneNote opening screen that showed a variety of items OneNote can be used for.
Client: Excel The client wanted an illustration that conveyed code editing and making scripts in Excel. An obvious solution would be to show code or a screen with scripts. But I wanted to show a more delightful way to show code editing.
Client: Powerpoint The client wanted a series of illustrations that showed new features of Powerpoint, such as being able to access meetings and presentations from any device, from anywhere.
Powerpoint also has a great subtitles feature we needed to highlight and show how it would work in a scenario.
Client: OneNote The client wanted a series of illustrations for an empty state screen.
Client: OneNote The client wanted a few whimsical To Do illustrations.
